1km = 1000 m
1 m = 100 cm
1 cm = 10 mm





Metric Units of Volume

1L = 1000 mL




Metric Units of Weight 

1kg = 1000 g



-to add or subtract measurements measurements must be in the SAME units

1. Group together like units
2. Add like units (starting with smaller units)
3. Rename and Regroup units (if you need to)
