After careful consideration,<\/p>\n Amy Van Bergen<\/strong> has been selected as the recipient of the 2016 scholarship. But I love meeting people and traveling and learning languages. I’m graduating from \u00c9cole Edward Schreyer School where I have been in the French immersion program. My favourite classes are Indigenous studies, global issues, and chemistry. In the fall I will be moving to Abbotsford, BC to begin my BA in multicultural studies at Columbia Bible College. I am very interested in international relations and politics. I hope to one day help defend the rights of First Nations people in Canada.
